Welcome to our Agriturism

From Tortona, going up the Val Grue, along a splendid panoramic road, you reach the ancient and welcoming village of the Principi Doria di Garbagna, an agricultural and artisan center known for its tasty cherries, porcini mushrooms coming from the countless surrounding woods, truffles, the antique furniture carved as it once was by expert craftsmen.

On the promontory that surrounds Garbagna and overlooks the entire valley, in the native hamlet of our family, stands the Ravera Giorgio farmhouse. From here it is possible to enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside rich in grain, wheat, pastures and fruit trees, but above all you can savor the pleasure of spending a period of absolute rest from the noise of the city and daily stress.

Over the years, part of the company’s old farmhouses have been transformed into farmhouse accommodation used today to host couples, friends and entire families for short or long periods.

In the meadows of the estate you will see fattening cattle, cows with calves, horses and white ponies for the little ones grazing freely.

The surrounding valleys offer beautiful paths, both accessible on foot and by mountain bike (often used to carry out races organized by the GTM “Garbagna Trail Montebore”) with characteristic destinations such as Monte San Vito, the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Lago and the Torre (watchtower, the entrance door and the walls of the medieval castle built in the 9th century). For more experienced cyclists, just 20km from Garbagna, it is possible to reach Castellania, Fausto Coppi’s native village where there is also a small museum dedicated to him.
For the little ones in the village there is a five-a-side football pitch and a free playground.
While a few kilometers away, more precisely in Borghetto Borbera, there is a “Bolle Blu” water park equipped with water slides, a picnic area and games for children.
