Restaurant “Al Caminetto”

Reached the characteristic central square of Garbagna, famous for the ancient church dedicated to the martyr San Rocco and his four chestnut trees that give it the nickname Chestnut Square, a few steps, in a characteristic street, there is the Restaurant “Al Caminetto” where all the guests of the farm and local tourists can have a meal breathing in a traditional atmosphere.

The Ravera family’s activity find here the extension of their roots in this historic family restaurant where the kitchen responds for over fifty years to the lines of the typical Piedmontese cuisine and local food.

It’s nice to discover the romantic warmth that can give an antique fireplace from where are cooked the delicious local meat, a bakery where the bread is done with the old recipe of Grandma, the rustic decor and tending to the ancient traditions.

Among the specialties emerge primarily local Salami, Tagliolini with mushrooms and truffles, Pansotti borage with Montebore, Risotto with timorasso, Agnolotti with stew, of course, all rigorously homemade by the wonderful cooks, mother and daughter, Vittoria and Barbara; then moving to the typical meat on the grill, the Leg in a bread crust, the Game and terminate with numerous desserts, right compendium between local products and imagination of the cooks. All accompanied by a good local wine, kindness, courtesy and cheerfulness.

The restaurant Al Caminetto is also available for functions, from baptism to the wedding reception. Appetizers can be enjoyed in the courtyard.
